How We Help
The LITC can represent you before the IRS or in US Tax Court on audits, appeals, tax collection matters, and other tax disputes. Services are provided for free and the clinic requests fee waivers whenever possible.
To qualify for assistance from an LITC, generally a taxpayer’s income must be below a certain threshold, and the amount in dispute with the IRS is usually less than $50,000.
You can apply today for free representation from Colorado Legal Services on our website or by calling 303-837-1313 between 9 am and 3 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays.
